As a way to raise awareness about Native American health issues, the National Indian Health Board selected youth from tribes across the nation to present stories at the 31st annual Consumer Conference in Albuquerque during the Native Youth Film Festival on Sept. 8.

At the conference, from Sept. 8 to Sept. 11 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, the students will present digital stories about health related issues affecting their communities.

The students were part of the Native Youth Summit, which was held on the Navajo Nation Sept. 4-9 at the Senator John Pinto Conference Center in the Navajo Nation Department of Transportation building.
