It's no secret that defense has been the mainstay for most of the area teams competing at the Arizona Division III state basketball tournament.

On Wednesday, some of that flavor was on full display as the No. 4 Window Rock Lady Scouts advanced into the Final Four round with a 52-45 win over No. 5 Thatcher.

Unfortunately, for the No. 10 Tuba City Warriors, that part of the game eluded them as their season was cut short. The Warriors were eliminated from the tournament after losing to No. 2 seed Valley Christian, 54-49.
