Another attempt to remove Johnny Naize as speaker of the Navajo Nation Council is going before the full Council Friday during a special session.

Unlike the previews attempts, this bill, sponsored by Council Delegate Alton Joe Shepherd, contains evidence of Naize allegedly conspiring and bribing with former and current Council delegates in the misuse of thousands of dollars in discretionary funds, according to court records attached to the bill.

Specifically, the bill contains former Council Delegate Raymond Joe's guilty charge of conspiracy to commit bribery as an exhibit, which is why Shepherd is sponsoring the bill once again.
