The Election Administration moved its headquarters to a conference room in the Navajo Nation Museum to handle the crowds in expectations that a large number of people would be filing in the last two days of the filing period.
But Wednesday morning was still very quiet at the election setup at the museum but election officials were ready in case there was a surge in filings that afternoon.
The last update that the election office had released was on May 5 and election officials said there would be no updates until after the official deadline had passed at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
One official said that a complete list of those who have filed probably would not be released until late Thursday or Friday.
