Missing Crystal man found, burial planned

WINDOW ROCK

The family of Michael Teller will be holding a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Crystal Community Center in Crystal, New Mexico, to talk about Teller’s funeral and burial plans.

Teller, 58, was reported missing by family members on Dec. 11, 2015. He had left home that day in his black GMC Sierra and never came home. His family, as well as law enforcement officers in Arizona and New Mexico, searched for him for months.

His remains and his vehicle were finally found the next September on a narrow road in the area that was seldom used. He had apparently got stuck there in a snowstorm and died of exposure.

Medical examiners in Arizona took the remains and just released them after finding no indications of foul play and the family is now preparing to hold a funeral and burial.
