Monument Valley's record-setting senior quarterback Redmond Delmar will play football at the next level.

Delmar, a prolific passer, has signed a letter of intent with Pima Community College of Tucson. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Delmar broke all of his older brother Jonathan's passing records.

"I'd like to congratulate Redmond for all his hard work," Monument Valley head football coach Bryan Begay said. "It's paying off with his scholarship. The most important factor is he gets the chance to do what he loves to do while he gets a good education. His goal was to play football at the next level and this gives him the opportunity to do so."

Fort Lewis College, the University of Rochester and Mesa Community College heavily recruited Delmar. He was also offered a chance to walk on at the University of Arizona.
