TPage Sand Devil Jeffrey Miller (1634) races against Tuba City’s Anthony Masayesva (2538) in the 1600-meter race at the Arizona state track meet in Mesa, Ariz.

After a strong off-season the achievements for the Winslow Lady Bulldogs, both the Piedra Vista baseball and softball teams didn't go unnoticed this past season.

Those three squads won their respective state titles and it's fitting they head our Navajo Times All-Star list for the 2014 spring sports season.

As always, our list is compiled with the intent of picking the area's top athletes and this year some of our track All-Stars put together some solid performances.

The Aztec girls and the Farmington boys won the state team crowns but what's even more remarkable is the fact that the area produced 19 individual champions with some of them earning multiple titles.

Unlike our fall and winter sports season where we honor all of our All-Stars, the Times will be recognizing only the athletes of the year for the spring sports season in a ceremony on Tuesday June 10 at the Navajo Nation Quality Inn in Window Rock. In addition the coaches of the year will also be recognized at the awards ceremony.
