Cousins lead team to state softball title

As children, Taylor and Terra Tahbo watched their fathers play slow-pitch softball in hopes of one day being just like their dads.

A decade later, the girls, whose fathers are brothers, have exceeded the expectations.

The two half Navajo and half Anglo girls have led the Lehi Pioneers to the school's first Utah 5A state softball title since 1997.

Taylor, the centerfielder, and Terra, an infielder, have provided a leadership that their coach Whitney Thomas said is truly unique.
