Dennison wins Eagle Ridge Rodeo all-around title

The 7th Annual Eagle Ridge Rodeo was held May 23. With over 225 entries, this was another marathon rodeo that began at 11:30 a.m. and ended by 5 p.m.

"Again I am pleased with the turn out to the 7th Eagle Ridge rodeo," said Harrison Charley, president.

"We all braved the strong wind and dust storm and just 'cowboyed up' to do what we must to win to be champions.

"When the dust settled, 12 event champions along with the all-around champion Kassidy Dennison received their awards," he said.

"Many more of you had a wonderful time. On behalf of the Eagle Ridge Rodeo Committee and the AIRCA A-Team, I thank you for rising to the occasion to make this rodeo a success again."

As all-around champion, Kassidy Dennison earned $515 in barrel racing and $489 in breakaway roping for a total of $1,004 plus a $100 bonus for a grand total of $1,104.

She also won an Earl's Restaurant gift card.
