The Navajo Times is seeking a full-time SPORTS WRITER, whose primary job responsibility is to provide sports coverage, on and off the Navajo Reservation, with a focus on Navajo athletes. Qualified candidates must have good writing skills, the ability to work on a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, must be able to work as a team with the editorial department, and meet established deadlines. Salary will be based on overall knowledge and experience. The Navajo Times offers excellent employee benefits and a 401K program.

Qualified applicants must have good writing skills, knowledge in the use of digital photographic equipment including lighting, exposure, and other specifications to ensure quality shooting; editing skills and knowledge in editing software; provide technical and creative consultation regarding photography assignments; have the ability to work on a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays; must be able to work as a team with the editorial department; and must meet established deadlines.
