Ganado Mid students learn from 'penny war'

M any people see pennies as junk change because they have very little value. But for students at Ganado Middle School, pennies were top dollar when they participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Pennies for Patients" campaign.
Through the campaign, students collect spare change for a three-week period to help the society fight blood cancer.
Ganado Middle School students earned over $700 in March.
