Members of the Renewal of Hope Task force will meet today to discuss the renewal of liquor licenses that they oppose because of how alcohol from these establishments has negatively impacted their community.

"All residents concerned about the effects of alcohol sales in Sanders and Chambers are encouraged to attend," said Char James, chairwoman for the Renewal of Hope Task force.

The community meeting is tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the Nahata Dzil Chapter House. Residents from the communities of Oak Springs, Lupton, Pine Springs, Houck, Sanders, New Lands, Chambers, Wide Ruins, Klagetoh and Ganado are encouraged to express their thoughts on the license renewal of Ole Red Barn, High Country Liquor and Lee's Liquor.
