Pinon is site of first presidential forum

The first of six planned forums for candidates running for Navajo Nation president is set for Tuesday at the Pinon High school auditorium.

The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be broadcast over KTNN and, for the first time ever, streamed live on the Internet. It will also be shown on NNTV-5 in Window Rock.

This first forum is sponsored by the Commission on Navajo Government Development, the Office of Navajo Government, the Navajo Nation Council/Naabik'iyáti' Committee-Subcommittee on Government Reform, and the Diné College Diné Policy Institute.

Media sponsors include Native Broadcast Enterprises - KTNN/KWRK, and the Navajo Times.
