The last presidential forum will be held on Aug. 18 at the Red Rock Park convention center.

Tom Arviso, CEO of the Navajo Times Publishing Co., said this is a change from the original date that was publicized, which was Aug. 19.

He said plans were to hold the event in the Window Rock Sports Center but because of the large turnouts for the first four forums, it was decided that the sports center would not be able to hold all of the people who are expected to attend.

The new gymnasium in Fort Defiance was considered but the cost for it was too high so forum sponsors decided to hold the forum at the Red Rock Park.

The event, sponsored by the Navajo Times and KTNN-KWRK, will begin at 6 p.m. and go to 9 p.m. It will be broadcast live over KTNN.

Candidates will have an opportunity to hold a meet and greet with visitors from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
