Page spoils Window Rock's debut in new arena

On Jan. 22, the Window Rock school district celebrated the unveiling of the brand new Bee Ho'ldzil Fighting Scouts Center to the public.

The first meaningful basket took place on Saturday night as Window Rock hosted the Page Sand Devils. In what was supposed to be a festive night, the Sand Devils sucked out the excitement for the legion of supporters that attended Window Rock's debut in the new arena, which was three-quarters filled in the 6,500-seat facility.

Page spoiled the party as the girls team defeated Window Rock, 53-38, before the boys concluded the night with a 61-46 win.
