Mother arrested in connection with death of toddler

Joe, who was arrested by the Gallup Police Department in Gallup and turned over to the FBI, is expected to appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge B. Paul Briones in Farmington on Friday, said Frank Fisher, media coordinator for the FBI in Albuquerque.
The FBI and Navajo Nation Police Department have been investigating the death of the child, whose body was found in Crystal, N.M. on Jan. 31. (For the Navajo Times’ first story on this, click here: http://www.navajotimes.com/news/2014/0114/013014toddler.php).
No further information will be released until after Joe’s court appearance.
“The public is reminded that all persons are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law,” Fisher added.
