Deschene gives deposition

After spending all day on the campaign trail at the 103rd annual Northern Navajo Fair in Shiprock, N.M., Navajo Nation presidential candidate Chris Deschene spent most of the day at the law office of David Jordan, attorney for Dale E. Tsosie, giving his deposition in Navajo, in Gallup, N.M.

Deschene, his attorney Brian Lewis and key members of his campaign team left Jordan's office as nonchalantly as they arrived Monday morning. A gag order put in place by Office of Hearings and Appeals chief hearing officer Richie Nez, prevents all parties involved from speaking about the deposition.

The deposition Deschene gave will be presented to Nez this Thursday in Window Rock, Ariz.
