TUBA CITY – The Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation has opened a 48-unit apartment complex for hospital staff, part of an effort to address housing shortages that have made it harder to recruit and keep health care workers in the region.
Hospital leaders and Navajo Nation officials gathered Jan. 30, 2026, for the grand opening of the Blue Canyon Apartments, a campus built for physicians, nurses and other employees who work at the main hospital. The project was completed in just over a year, with construction beginning in August 2024.
