The Project may include correcting any deficiencies that may exist in current financial and/or accounting procedures; ensuring proper procurement, accounting and reporting practices; preparation of records, documents, reports and books as necessary and/or helpful for annual audits, to include reports necessary for compliance with applicable standards; providing timely reports regarding fiscal status and budget compliance both in general and by line item (monthly); assist in payroll, reconciliations, journal entries and similar business office functions; identifying and defining the in-house support services that Offerors deem advisable to coordinate services between School and Offerors; aiding in the development of greater in-house expertise; and, provide general oversight and support of all business office functions to include recommendations to the Board as appropriate and as needed.
The Offerors shall provide and include all transportation and services necessary for the delivery of the goods described in the Project.
The closing date for the acceptance of proposals is 5:00 p.m. (MST) on June 4, 2026. Said proposals must be received by SMDS prior to that date and time. Sealed proposals shall be opened on June 8, 2026, at the SMDS Administration Office, Second Mesa, Navajo County, Arizona. Notice is hereby given that the Special Education Department of Pinon Community School, Inc., Navajo County, AZ is seeking bid proposals from qualified and eligible (Licensed) firms and individuals for SY 2026-2027. Proposal must include Extended School Year for providing service for Summer 2027.
All RFP’s must be submitted no longer than 3:30 p.m. (local time) on May 29, 2026 to Administration. Proposals can be hand delivered or mailed to the Pinon Community School to be considered for selection at the above mentioned address or location. Contracts will be awarded based on the information of the scope of work, services and cost in proposals received. The Special Education Department will award the contracts based on the proposals expected to be in the best interest to our school and students with disabilities.
Pinon Community School Special Education Department reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals without obligation to the Department. No bidder may withdraw his/her quote after the date set for opening thereof.

The Navajo Division of Transportation (Navajo DOT) is soliciting proposals to construct “N8084(1)1,2&4 Road Project in Many Farms, AZ”. The proposed work consists of grading and roadway excavation; two concrete girder bridges; placement of aggregate base course and asphalt pavement; installation of drainage structures, concrete box culvert, fencing, cattleguards, signs, striping, guardrail, and other miscellaneous work as called for in the design plans and specifications for this 3.86 mile roadway project located in Many Farms, AZ, Apache County, Navajo Nation.
Proposals will be subject to all requirements specified in RFP No. 26-05-4127SB. The RFP package will be available for download from the Navajo DOT website (https://navajodot.org/rfp%2Frfq), beginning May 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM MDT.
A MANDATORY Virtual Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM MDT. The Pre-Proposal Meeting will consist of a brief presentation explaining the Project Scope and the necessary items required to be submitted as part of the RFP. The Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act and Navajo Preference Act shall apply to this project. Prospective bidders are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these provisions. Having preference does not guarantee the award of the project. Competitive Sealed Proposals under the Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act shall be utilized in the selection of the Contractor.
