Navajo Generating Station Redevelopment Plan

The Navajo Nation extends an invitation to qualified and experienced Professional Service firms to respond to the Request for Qualifications for the Navajo Generating Station redevelopment plan. The study area is the former Navajo Generating Station site located in LeChee, Arizona.
The RFQ packet may be obtained by emailing Ms. Beatrice Watchman with the Project Development Department, Division of Economic Development at beawat@navajo-nsn.gov or phone call at (928)871-6504.
The Request for Qualification shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: “DO NOT OPEN: Navajo Generating Station Redevelopment Plan”. Firms claiming Priority 1 or Priority 2 shall label their proposal on the envelope or in the subject line. The Cost Proposal shall be provided in a separate envelope marked: “DO NOT OPEN: Cost –Navajo Generating Station Redevelopment Plan” and must be received no later than Friday, June 28, until 3:00 PM local time, after which time the RFQ will be received and opened at a later time.
The selection of the qualified firm will be made in accordance with the Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act, and the selected firm shall comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act, N.N.C. Title 5, Chapter 2, Section 201, et. Seq., where applicable.
Each firm shall submit three (3) bound and sealed, one original and two copies of their RFQ. Telefaxed copies will not be accepted. RFQ’s received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. Failing to provide statements or documents required by the Request for Qualifications will be deemed non-responsive.
The Division of Economic Development reserves the right to reject any and all RFQ’s and to waive any informality whenever such rejection or waiver is deemed in the best interest of the Navajo Nation.

The Na Neelzhiin Ji Olta, Inc. (NJOI)

The Tohatchi First Responders Substation Selection Committee of the Navajo Nation is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Construction Managers (CMAR) to provide pre-construction and potentially complete construction services for the new Tohatchi First Responders Substation in Tohatchi, Navajo Nation, New Mexico. SOQ packets will be available on May 21, 2024, at the Navajo Department of Corrections in Fort Defiance, AZ or via e-mail from Parsons, the Project Manager. The SOQ initially solicits services necessary for project Design-Assistance in cooperation with the Owner and Architect (LAM Corporation) but may be modified to include future construction phase services. The facility may include Navajo Fire Department, Navajo Division of Public Safety, Navajo Emergency Medical Services, and related departments.
A virtual Pre-submittal Conference will be held at 10:00 am MDT on May 30, 2024. Call in information will be distributed to acknowledged packet holders. It is NOT mandatory that your firm participate in the call. Proposals shall conform to the SOQ instructions. Responses must be received at the Navajo Department of Corrections office in Fort Defiance, AZ, no later than 2:00 pm MDT on July 2, 2024.
