‘Under Exile’ hopes news album will inspire other local bands

The guys of Under Exile are looking forward to the release of their debut album “Self Imposed Exile” on March 26.
Under Exile features Morgan Yabeny (guitar), Rumeel Jim (bass), Franklin Yazzie (vocals), Wyatt Billie (drums) and Ryland Benally (guitar).
This album is what Under Exile has been working up to, said Yazzie, 17, and now that they have it they feel it will open up doors for them.
“Having an actual album recorded lets us share our music a lot easier,” Yazzie said, adding that they will send off their work to different promoters and radio stations. “We don’t really know any other local bands that have put out a full-blown professional level album.
“We’ve really grown as a band and we see more people coming to our shows,” he added.
