Ann Marie Chischilly, a Diné attorney and higher education leader, has been named one of the grand marshals for the June 20, 2026, Pride in the Pines parade, organizers announced Feb. 13.

FLAGSTAFF – Ann Marie Chischilly, a Diné attorney and higher education leader, has been named one of the grand marshals for the June 20, 2026, Pride in the Pines parade, organizers announced Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.
Chischilly, who is the vice president for Native American and Indigenous Advancement at Northern Arizona University, brings more than 25 years of work in higher education, environmental law and water policy.
She is Nát’oh Dine’é Táchii’nii and born for Tábąąhá. Her maternal grandfather is Honágháahnii and her paternal grandfather is Mą’ii Deeshgiizhnii. She was raised in Shą́ą́’tóhí, Ts’ahbiikin and in Tódineéshzhee’.
