Pax Harvey Consulting can now be found at Innovation Center
CHURCHROCK
Known for his ability to facilitate fun, Pax Harvey decompresses at the gym with squats, likely on the least fun list for gym-goers.
“When the world is coming down on me, when the world is bringing me down with all that negativity that’s taking me down, I lift it up. I bring it back up,” he said.
Balance at home, at work, and in his personal life play a key role in his promotion of healthy living in his consulting work.
Known for his work as an entertainer and comedian, Harvey moved his business Pax Harvey Consulting into the Navajo Tech Innovation Center on March 1. Before that he had run the business from his home for five years.
With motivational speeches, keynote talks, and professional development sessions on topics such as customer service, his focus for clients focuses on healthy living applied to individuals and reflected in the workplace. Having an outlet outside work fits into the structure of healthy living he promotes with his clients.
“I always encourage people to find that outlet, that one outlet that helps you relieve stress, that’s what we need in life. If you don’t have an outlet, then a lot of people begin to create an unhealthy lifestyle,” he said.
He said forming strong bonds in a stable home and family life has had a stabilizing impact on his life, even after a difficult childhood and upbringing marred by abuse and alcoholism. He and his wife Felicia Harvey have two children, and before identifying himself as anything else, he said his most important role in life is as a husband and a father.
