Low-income household water assistance program

BREADSPRINGS, N.M. – The Division of Social Services Financial Assistance Unit will host a community application drive for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program on Tuesday, March 5, at Breadsprings Chapter from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Staff will be on site to answer questions and assist with the application. Bring the following documents:

• Certificate of Indian Blood or tribal enrollment certificate

• Social Security card

• Birth certificate

• Identification card/driver’s license

• Income verification

• Proof of residency

• Water invoice utility bill

• Septic quotes from vendor

The program helps pay household water and wastewater bills. Assistance with septic tank pumping services is also available under this program.
