Hello to my family and relatives of the great Navajo Nation! I greet each of you with a humble heart and open mind. As I approach the end of my reign I would like to thank you for the wonderful honor of letting me represent our youth, families, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. I have encountered many wonderful people, leaders and students throughout my reign who have enlightened my journey.
I have great expectations for every community I visited as Miss Navajo Nation, as a leader, as a young woman. I believe everyone is capable of reaching their potential to make their home better, their livelihood better, their community better as we all strive for healthy living and harmony between all walks of life.
I am grateful to have this opportunity to share this time with my people of the Navajo Nation as the goodwill ambassador. It is a precious and humbling experience to hold this position. I hope each of you a safe journey in life and learn all that you can about the teachings, values, history and language of our Diné people. Keep looking forward. Ádaa’ áhółyá dóó nizhónígo nee’oo’ááł.
