According to a Navajo police who did not want to be identified, around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, April 8, a man, who may or may not be a student at NTU, got into an altercation with his girlfriend. Campus security was called, who arrived to the home. The man then pulled a gun on them. Police was called. At that time, the man barricaded himself.

A few hours later, Navajo police decided to breach the home when the man refused to cooperate.
