SHIPROCK — Funeral services for Shadow Bry Hummingbird, 34, of Shiprock, will be held today, June 27, at 11 a.m. at the Shiprock LDS Church with Bishop Zahne officiating. A reception will follow the service.
Shadow was born Sept. 24, 1984, in Shiprock, into the Tl’ááshchí’í (Red Bottom People Clan), born for Cherokee. He passed away June 16, 2019, in Dallas, Texas.
Shadow is survived by his father, Larry Hummingbird; and sisters, Summer Hogue and Sunshine Hummingbird.
Desert View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Malcolm Mitchell Ute
KIRTLAND, N.M. — Funeral services for Malcolm Mitchell Ute, 47, of Ignacio, Colorado, were held June 17 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, The Stake Center, in Kirtland, New Mexico. Interment followed at the Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery in Kirtland.
Malcolm was born Feb. 25, 1972, in Monument Valley, Utah. He passed away June 12, 2019, in Durango, Colorado.
Malcolm was in the care of Desert View Funeral Home.
