FLAGSTAFF – Funeral services for Doreen J. Harvey, 44, of Grand Junction, Colorado, will be held Saturday, May 3, at 12 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene in Flagstaff. Burial will follow in Grand Junction.

Doreen J. Harvey, July10, 1980 – April 23, 2025
Doreen was born July10, 1980, in Tuba City, into the Kin?ichíi’nii (Red House People Clan), born for Hasht?’ishnii (Mud Clan). Her nálí is Naakaii dine’é (Mexican); cheii is Táchii’nii (Red Running Into the Water People). She passed away April 23, 2025, in Grand Junction.
Doreen enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, watching cooking shows, and was a big fan of the Colorado Avalanche hockey team.
Doreen is survived by her parents, Dennis and Rosemary Harvey; siblings, Phil Begay, Raine Harvey-Cooper, Calvin Harvey, and Darren Harvey; and grandparents, Jim and Bertha Harvey, and Calvin and Thelma Manymules.
A reception will take place at the Flagstaff Church of the Nazarene following services.

Myron R. Ami
POLACCA, Ariz. – Graveside service for Myron R. Ami, 70, was held April 12 in Polacca, Arizona.

Myron R. Ami, 70
Myron was born in 1954 in Keams Canyon, Arizona. He passed away April 9, 2025, in Polacca.
Myron is survived by his wife, Cecelia Ami; children, Kimberly Ami and Dawn Ami; sister, Wilma Dengavi; brothers, Clifton Ami, Carlon Ami and Donald Ami; and five grandchildren.
Myron is preceded in death by his daughters, Amy M. Ami and Mylia M. Phouamkha.
Darlene L. Shirley
GANADO, Ariz. – Funeral services for Darlene Louise Shirley, 65, of Ganado, Arizona, are pending.
Darlene was born April 17, 1960, in Ganado, into the Táb??há (Water’s Edge Clan), born for M?’ii deeshgiizhinii (Coyote Pass Clan). Her nálí is Tódích’íi’nii (Bitter Water); cheii is Tódích’íi’nii. She passed away April 27, 2025, in Flagstaff.
Darlene attended Ganado High School and worked with Ganado Unified School District security, Navajo Police Department, transport driver, and a Cellular One representative.
Darlene enjoyed playing Mahjong and Sudoku, cooking, driving, and watching football and the Price is Right.
Darlene is survived by her son, Darrel Watchman; daughter, Jessica Wauneka; sisters, Lorraine Teller, Laverne Jones, Judy Willetto, Lenora Shirley, and Veronica Miller; and 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Darlene is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Woodty Shirley; and father, Wallace Shirley.
