Patrick M. Logg
GREASEWOOD, Ariz. — Funeral services for Patrick M. Logg, 47, of Greasewood Springs, Arizona, will be held Friday, July 15, at 10 a.m. (MST) at the Greasewood Pentecostal Church with Pastor Roy Begay officiating. Burial will follow at the family burial plot.
Patrick was born March 17, 1969, in Fort Defiance, into the Tó Dich’íi’nii (Bitter Water Clan). He died July 10, 2016, in Holbrook, Arizona.
Patrick attended Holbrook High School and was employed as a cook. He enjoyed rodeos, camping, fishing, family gatherings, and most of all, cooking.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Dephine Logg; sons, Larin Johnson, Patrick Logg Jr. and Collin Logg; daughter, Chasity Logg; parents, Kee and Louise Logg; brothers, Jonathan Logg and Frederick Logg; sisters, Beverly Paddock, Patsy Geneeha, and Theresa Logg; and three grandchildren.
Patrick is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Logg Jr., Cody Geneeha, Roderick Logg, Layton Paddock III, Aaron Paddock and Lyndell Geneeha.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Geneeha, Collin Logg, Kyle Bakurza, Jonathan Logg, Frederick Logg and Layton Paddock.
A reception will take place at Greasewood Chapter House following services.

Vaughn Mc Farland
KAYENTA — Funeral services for U.S. Marine Vaughn Mc Farland were held July 11 in Kayenta. A reception took place at the Union Hall in Kayenta, following services.
Vaughn was born June 9, 1992. He passed away June 30, 2016.
Vaughn graduated from boot camp Nov. 11, 2015, and was stationed in North Carolina.
Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Farland and Marlinda Black.
Rose Bahe Cope
PAGE, Ariz. — Funeral services for Rose Cope, longtime resident of Page, Arizona, were held July 13 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Page. Interment followed at the Page cemetery.
Rose was born March 14, 1945, in Fort Wingate, N.M., into the Nat’kezhii Clan, born for Tsahe’leenii Clan. Her maternal clan is Áshiihi (Salt People) and paternal clan is Tó Dich’íi’nii (Bitter Water). She died July 8, 2016, in Phoenix.
Rose was employed as a timekeeper during overhauls at Navajo Generating Station. She later worked for the Navajo Department of Behavioral Health.
Rose was a beautiful woman, and in her earlier years she posed as a hand model. She was also a phenomenal potter and jewelry maker. She loved and collected miniature items and displayed them in her home.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Ursula Cope, Yasmine Cope and Martha Attikai; grandson, Collin Cope Keller; siblings, Rose Marie Chee, Truman Bahe, David Bahe and Larry Bahe; and sister, Mare’ Chee.
Rose is preceded in death by siblings, Lee Bahe, William Bahe, Leo Bahe, Lorene Tah and Mary Ann Bahe.
Additionally, Rose leaves behind many extended family members and countless dear friends.
Leland Antonio Tso
WHEATFIELDS, Ariz. — Graveside service for Leland Antonio Tso, 37, of Wheatfields, Arizona, were held July 11 at Billie’s family plot in Wheatfields, with John Tso officiating.
Leland was born Dec. 14, 1978, in Fort Defiance, into the Tl’ááshchi’i (Red Bottom People Clan), born for Tábaahá (Water’s Edge Clan). He died July 5, 2016, in Tsaile.
Leland graduated from Rough Rock High School and was pursuing a certificate in carpentry at Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint. He held various jobs with Navajo Housing Authority through the years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, building automobiles, playing cards and telling jokes. His pride and joy was being with his children.
Leland is survived by his sons, Ilijzaha Harvey of Wheatfields, and LeCaine Tso of Lukachukai, Ariz.; daughter, Cantara Tso of Lukachukai; parents, Evelyn and Robert Tso of Wheatfields; sisters, Tammi Tso and Tanya Tso, both of Wheatfields; and grandmother, Rosie Tso of White Valley, Ariz.
Leland is preceded in death by Sam Billie, Alice Shirley-Billie and Nakai Tso.
Pallbearers were Walter Wilson, Michael Billie, Andrew Descharme, Alfonzo Curley and Michael Billie II.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Tso and Lance Bia.

Rev. Fred Wilson Yazzie
FARMINGTON — A closed casket service for Rev. Fred Wilson Yazzie, 77, will be held Friday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 808 N. Monterey Ave. in Farmington, with Rev. Paul West officiating. Viewing will be held today, July 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Desert View Funeral Home Chapel in Shiprock. Burial will follow at the Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery in Kirtland, N.M.
Fred was born July 8, 1939, in Shiprock, to Elsie (Begay) and Harding Yazzie Sr. He died peacefully July 10, 2016, surrounded by family.
Fred married Carol Pioche in 1964. They have four sons, Gaylon F. (Beverly), Theron F. (Petula), Shannon M., and Jason D. (Lilllian), and he leaves behind six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Fred is survived by his
siblings, Harding Yazzie Jr., Larry L. Yazzie, David A. Yazzie and Richard H. Yazzie.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Harding Sr. and Elsie Yazzie; and sisters, Ella M. Yazzie, Helen M. Yazzie, Dana P. Yazzie, and Barbara J. Curtis.

Jason Lee James
CHINLE — Funeral services for Jason Lee James, 32, of Salina, Arizona, were held July 13 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Chinle, with Father Florencita Pabatao officiating. Interment followed in Chinle.
Jason was born Jan. 1, 1984, in Gallup, into the Ts’ah yisk’idnii (Sage Brush Hill Clan), born for Tó Dich’íi’nii (Bitter Water Clan). He died July 7, 2016, in Gallup.
Jason graduated from high school with a technical background and was employed with Kroger’s Department Store nationwide. He loved to design clothing, watch action movies and spend time with family.
Jason is survived by his mother, Judith James; brother, Stanford James; sister, Jackie James; and grandmother, Betty Lee James.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Lee James; and grandparents, Leo and Isabelle Benally, and Kee Kea James.

Augustine Davis
GALLUP — Funeral services for Augustine Davis, 54, were held July 11 at Grace Bible Church in Gallup. Interment followed at the family plot in Pinehaven, N.M.
Augustine was born Jan. 13, 1962, in Gallup, into the Dibélizhini (Black Sheep Clan), born for Kin Yaa’áanii (Towering House Clan). He died July 5, 2016, in Albuquerque.
Augustine attended Pinehill Elementary School, Wingate Elementary School, Gallup Middle School and Wingate High School from 1976-1979. He attended Job Corps in San Marcos, Texas, with an interest in the butchering field. He worked for 20 years for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and retired from there.
Augustine enjoyed breeding horses and was a rancher most of his adult life. He was a member of Crossland Bible Church and most recently, Native Bible Church.
Augustine is survived by his sisters, Lena Arviso of Pinehaven, Elsie Belone of Vanderwagen, New Mexico, Loretta Arviso of Pinehaven; and brothers Daniel Davis of Vanderwagen, and Zac Davis of Albuquerque.
Augustine is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Davis, and son Osiel Davis of San Angelo, Texas.
Pallbearers were Matt Davis, Mike Davis, Tye Arviso, Daniel Davis, Gerald Pinto and C. R. Davis.

Michael James Martin
KLAGETOH, Ariz. – Gravesite services for Michael James Martin, 43, of Klagetoh, Arizona, were held July 11 at Klagetoh Community Cemetery.
Michael was born Jan. 17, 1973, in Phoenix into the Tsé Ńjíkiní (Cliff Dwelling Clan), born for Naałani (Sioux). He died July 7, 2016, at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
Michael graduated from Ganado High School in Ganado, Arizona.
He is survived by his sisters; Henrietta Footracer, Shawna Ashley and brother, Eric Ashley.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother; Elizabeth Ann Tsinajinnie-Martin.
Pallbearers were; Brannon Yazzie, LaMardo Tsinajinnie, Arthur Begay, Princeton Brown, Ebaristo Soberano and Santos Soberano.
Honorary pallbearers were; Eric Ashley, Roy Ashley and Garrett Gishey.
