The 2025 Indian Nationals Finals Rodeo gets underway on Tuesday afternoon with the opening round performance at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The weeklong event concludes on Saturday night with the crowning of this year’s world champions as a bevy of Diné cowboys and cowgirls are entered.
The INFR will feature 10 performances, two each day with the afternoon performance slated for 12:30 p.m. (PDT) and 6:30 p.m. for the evening session.
Winslow barrel racer Tara Seaton is one of many Navajo contingents looking to win another world title. In 2023, the Diné cowgirl won her first world crown when she beat out two other cowgirls for the INFR women’s all-around championship.
At the end of the regular season, Seaton won her fifth INFR Tour championship in the barrel racing.
Other Tour champions include Steven DeWolfe (bareback), Randin Wagner (saddle bronc), Preston Louis (bull riding), Ty Allen Fischer (steer wrestling), Dontre Goff (tie-down), Erich Rogers (header), Chance Hunter (heeler) and Erin Etsitty (breakaway).
