The Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board on March 24 celebrated its 15th anniversary of becoming a Public Law 93-638 health care facility.

The celebration started with a horse ride from the old hospital to the new one, marking the journey of progress and resilience. The ride symbolized the transition from the old Indian Health Service hospital to the new, self-governed facility that has been serving the community since 2010.
