ASU crowns all-Diné court in<br>Indigenous royalty pageant

WINDOW ROCK

For the first time in Arizona State University history, all four Indigenous ASU titleholders are Diné.

Tonana Ben was crowned the 2025-26 Miss Indigenous ASU on April 12. Joining her are Logan Logg, the Mr. Indigenous ASU; Dayshon Dalgai, the Mr. Indigenous ASU First Attendant; and Kaitlyn Yazzie, the Miss Indigenous ASU First Attendant.

“It was a really exciting moment,” said Ben on Tuesday night. “Especially knowing that no matter who placed, the entire court – both the first attendant and Mr. Indigenous ASU – would be Navajo. That’s the first time that’s ever happened in ASU’s history.”
