Diné business owner earns NCAIED volunteer award

Mabel Tsosie, president and founder of Spottedhorse Infosystems LLC, was given the 2015 Volunteer of the Year award during the National Reservation Economic Summit in Las Vegas.
The summit was held March 9-12 by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, also known as NCAIED, a nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping Native American businesses thrive as well as helping improve economic opportunities.
Tsosie said the award was a huge honor but credited it on teamwork. She is one of the lead volunteer coordinators for NCAIED and her main focus is on college students.
