So, as I listen to my holly, jolly Christmas music, I want all of you to be happy, safe and healthy this holiday season. Take time for yourself and think sincerely about all of the positive things that you have going for you in your life today. Put the negative people, emotions and events on the backburner and allow the good blessings that you have take priority in your life.

The Navajo Nation Primary Election is just about 11 months away but official dates for the tribal primary and general elections have yet to be decided. If this is an indication of how the 2022 tribal election year is going to take place, then we could be in for many months of uncertainty and surprises.

By this time next year, we should know who the top two candidates running for the Office of Navajo Nation President are. The primary election should be concluded and the race toward the November 2022 general election will be off and running full speed ahead.

Today, however, there is still much uncertainty over the upcoming 2022 Navajo Nation election.
