
No power, no problem: Tse Yi Gai High grads celebrate strength, legacy

PUEBLO PINTADO, N.M.
Despite a power outage, it did not stop graduation ceremonies for 16 Diné Warrior alumni-to-be from graduating on May 21.
Surrounded by family, friends, and mentors, the Tse’ Yi’ Gai High School Class of 2025 marked its graduation with a celebration of perseverance, identity, and personal growth.

Principal Sharon Vannier opened the evening by welcoming students and community members who had supported the seniors throughout their high school journey.
“Tse’ Yi’ Gai High School has been a shrine of positivity in an unforgettable journey,” she said. “To the Class of 2025, the future is yours. Own it. Take control of it. Move forward with confidence, optimism, and a commitment to make a difference.”
