AstroFriday presentation

FARMINGTON – The San Juan College Planetarium’s AstroFriday presentation for Friday, May 9, is “Losing the Dark” at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The presentation is a 7-minute full-dome video about the effects of light pollution on stargazing, general astronomy, and the environment. A live sky show will follow the video on the planetarium dome and a tour of celestial objects visible at this time of year. First come, first served for 60 guests per show (no late admittance allowed once presentation begins).
