Fire danger is high

FORT DEFIANCE – The BIA Fire Management has raised the fire danger level to high. Wildfires can spread rapidly with short range spotting, creating other multiple fires, which may become serious to control and extinguish. Use extreme caution with campfires or cooking fires. Put fires out completely with water before leaving. Do not burn trash. Register ceremonial burns with Navajo Nation EPA, Air Quality, at 928-729-4096/4246. To report a wildfire, call 928-729-2307.
