Fire danger is moderate

FORT DEFIANCE – The BIA Fire Management, Navajo Region, has raised the fire danger level from Low to Moderate. Due to limited precipitation and dried vegetation, fire spread is likely to become a threat and control may be limited. Contain any type of cooking fire and extinguish with water when complete. For debris or ceremonial burn, call 928-729-4246. To report a wildfire, call 928-729-2307.
