Letters | Get ducks in a row

Get ducks in a row

After in-depth researching of 11N.N.C. 202 and 203, passed by Navajo Nation Tribal Council as an “emergency”, has a lot of illegality of process:

1. Proper channels not followed for Public Hearing;2. Violation of Rights to Vote;
3. Violation of Freedom of Speech;
4. Did not follow through with Law and Order, including NABI.

Many letters were written to tribal candidates after election date for disqualification. In 11N.N.C. 202 and 203, it did not specify days, calendar days, nor workdays due. What was the emergency with this resolution? What disaster was to happen?
We are now in an emergency with floods happening on our reservation, but do not see selfies of those traveling in the fair parade at the expense of our census dollars. This specific Resolution OLS 016-24 (11N.N.C. 202/203) was presented by sponsors on Jan. 10, 2024. Then he withdrew on Jan. 18 and re-submitted on Jan. 18 as an emergency resolution. On Jan. 18, there was no disaster on the Navajo Reservation.

Therefore, I personally encourage those that have received notice from the Navajo Election Administration for disqualification to run for public office for five years. Do your appeal letter to this specific office as soon as possible.

My personal opinion, please send 11N.N.C. 202 and 203 to file No. 13 as soon as possible with an apology letter to those you politically offended and revisit this specific resolution with the proper channels for the people, not for the shepherd that only serves himself, not his sheep.

As my mentor always said, “Get your ducks in line” to our Navajo Tribal Council, by Dr. Annie Wauneka. I also quote my father’s famous lecture to us, “No matter how many degrees you hold, our uneducated are the most intelligent, listen to them.”
Thank you for your time, my relatives. God bless America.
