Sadie Yazzie, 65, of Ganado was killed Wednesday in a two-car crash.

According to New Mexico State Police, the accident occurred on State Road 118 at Mile Marker 33 east of Gallup.

The initial investigation indicated a Hyundai passenger car traveling westbound on State Road 118 was attempting to turn left onto the Interstate 40 entrance ramp. The passenger car failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle traveling eastbound, and turned in front of the oncoming vehicle, causing a collision.
