Pvt. Tyler J. Bia graduated April 10 from boot camp at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. He became an expert shooter and completed the first class physical fitness test and combat fitness test.
Pvt. Bia is the son of Lorinda Goodman and grandson of Jonah and Lorina Laughlin of Crystal, N.M.
Pvt. Bia is a 2014 graduate of North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
Pvt. Bia will be stationed at Camp Pendleton as 0311 rifleman/security forces.
