PAGE-LAKE POWELL
The Office of the President and Vice President was billed $143,883.87 over a two-year period for electrical services, security installations, event power, building inspections, home renovations and direct cash loans, according to a set of invoices from Innovative Electric LLC reviewed by the Navajo Times.
The records, which span February 2023 through December 2024, show $123,383.87 in construction and service work and $20,500 in cash loans. Every invoice lists the Office of the President and Vice President as the party billed, even when the work involved private homes, community events, or personal expenses.
The billing documents show that most service requests and all cash-loan requests were handled through former Chief of Staff Patrick Sandoval. Several projects were also directly requested by President Buu Nygren, according to the invoices.
The contractor, Innovative Electric LLC, is based in Farmington. Its invoices use the same standardized format for electrical work and for cash loans.
