Page Police Chief Tim Lange on March 13 presented Navajo Police Sgt. Rodney Slim with a plaque that represents Page Police’s gratitude for his service and assistance to the Page-Lake Powell communities.
Lange last Thursday said Slim has assisted the Page Police Department with multiple investigations that involve both the Navajo Nation and the city of Page.
“In November last year, Navajo Police Chief Ronald Silversmith allowed Sgt. Slim to work with and assist us with our (Page-Lake Powell) Balloon Regatta, which we are extremely grateful for,” said Lange, a former Navajo Police officer who served in the Tuba City Police District.
Slim is from Western Navajo, residing in Page and Coppermine, Arizona. Lange added that Slim is a valued member of the law enforcement family in northern Arizona.
