PBS Kids’ ‘Molly of Denali’ travels to Shiprock in new episode celebrating Diné culture

‘Molly of Denali’ visits an artist’s studio in this new episode of the PBS KIDS series. The scene shows two children meeting a Native painter whose work reflects the sweeping landscape and traditions of the Southwest.

For the first time, the adventurous PBS Kids character Molly Mabray leaves her Alaskan home to visit the Navajo Nation in a new episode of “Molly of Denali,” where she learns about generosity, family and the importance of giving back.
The episode, “Feeling Sheepish/Chasing the Wind,” is part of a new five-part miniseries, Molly’s Epic Adventures, which follows Molly and her grandfather, Nat Kidelee, on a cross-country journey to meet Native American communities across the United States. The series, produced by GBH, premiered Nov. 3 on PBS Kids and is available for streaming on the PBS app.
