Richelle Montoya separates from husband Olsen Chee

Navajo Nation Vice President Richelle Montoya is cutting ties with second gentleman Olsen Chee.
The couple’s separation is set to be announced via press release today. The news will be shared via Facebook.
President Buu Nygren and the vice president did not want to comment.
Montoya’s husband was featured prominently in a photo of the couple on the Nygren-Montoya campaign website. The current photo of the vice president on the president’s office website depicts her standing solo in front of the tribal seal.
In an exclusive interview on Aug. 8 with the Navajo Times, Montoya said she did not want to speak about her husband and was leaving him out of her political career.
