Ronald Begay, the son of Navajo Code Talker Thomas H. Begay, said recent actions by the federal government brought disappointment and disbelief to his family and many others.
When websites honoring the Navajo Code Talkers were removed, and tribal flags were taken down from Veterans Affairs buildings, Ronald felt the weight of what he called a “disrespectful” move.
