Dalroy Larry Killsnight
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah – Funeral services for Dalroy Larry Killsnight, 45, will be held Friday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at the LDS South Past Ward Church in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Viewing will take place prior to service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Utah Vet Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
Dalroy was born Aug. 11, 1969, in Tuba City, to Mae Chee and Roger Killsnight Sr. He died July 06, 2015, in Salt Lake City.
Dalroy was raised in Dennehotso, Ariz., and attended Grantsville High School in Utah. His grandparents are the late Chee and Marie Yazzie of Dennehotso.
Dalroy served his country as a U.S. Army Ranger from 1988 to 1992 and worked hard to support his family as a journeyman carpenter in Salt Lake City. He loved to run, fish and spend his spare time with his family.
Dalroy is survived by his wife of eight years, Lorene Savage; and sons, Michael, Sean and Matthew.
A reception will take place at the LDS South Past Ward Church following services.
Roy Kescoli Benally
SANDERS, Ariz. — Funeral services for Roy Kescoli Benally, 64, of Sanders, Ariz., will be held Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. (DST) at Sanders Bible Church with Rev. Jerry Yonnie officiating. Burial will follow at the Newlands Cemetery in Sanders.
Roy was born Oct. 25, 1950, in Dinebito, Ariz., into the Naakai dine’Ž (Mexican Clan), born for Mescalero Apache. He died July 1, 2015, in Sanders.
Roy received carpentry training at the Technical Vocational Institute and worked for the Navajo Nation Police Department in Tuba City. He enjoyed carpentry, automotive and agriculture.
Roy is survived by his sons, Reuben Benally and Reginald Benally; daughters, Rosanna Benally and Ritanna Benally; brothers, Jack King, Tilman Long, Tim Long, Sam Benally, and Tony Benally; sisters, Nellie Deal, Julia Denetso, Lillie Wilson, Bertha Black, Violet Bia, Mae Horseman, Tatianna Darmer, Jane Benally, and Nora Bilah; and six grandchildren.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Rose Long and Tom K. Benally.
Pallbearers will be Reginald Benally, Arthero Yazzie, Shawn Brown, Ray-Kell Goatson, U-Ryan Goatson, and Justin Rockman.
A reception will take place at the Nahata Dzil Chapter House following services.

Durwin Merrill Davis
REHOBOTH, N.M. — Funeral services for Durwin Merrill Davis, 23, will be held Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at the Rehoboth Christian Reformed Church. Burial will follow at the family plot in Pine Haven, N.M.
Durwin was born April 11, 1992, into the Tsenabahilnii (Sleep Rock People Clan), born for Tsi’naajinii (Black Streak Wood People Clan). His nali is Naakai dine’Ž (Mexican); chei is Haltsooi (Meadow People). He died July 1, 2015.
Durwin attended Gallup Central High School and was self-employed. He enjoyed listening to his favorite music, taking care of his paternal grandparents and spending time with loved ones and friends.
Durwin is survived by his parents, Wilfred Davis and Judy Pete; sisters, Judith Davis, Jolinda Davis and Jaylin Etsitty; and paternal grandparents, Alfred and Junita Davis.
Durwin is preceded in death by David and Pauline Pete.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Nelwood, Christopher Torrez, Sheldon Billie, Noel Duboise, Melvin Begay, Tyson Begay, and Tyrell Begay.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alfred Davis and Wilfred Davis.

Harvey James
GALLUP — Funeral services for Harvey James, 87, will be held today, July 9, at 10 a.m. at the Rollie Mortuary Chapel in Gallup. Burial will follow at the family plot in Cousin, N.M.
Harvey was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Cousin, into the Tsenabahilnii (Sleep Rock People Clan), born for Bit’ahnii (Under His Cover Clan). He died July 5, 2015, in Gallup.
Harvey attended Wingate Elementary School and was a ranch hand. He enjoyed livestock and had various jobs working for railroad mining, chapter house and preschool.
Harvey is survived by his brother, Rev. Kee James; daughters, Else Thomas, Mabel James, Annie James, Evelyn James, Nora James, and Melissa James; and sons, Paul James, Harrison James, Emerson James, Phillip James, and Anthony James.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Glessie James and James Mustach; brother, Jesse James; and daughter, Nellie Roanhorse.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Benally, Darrell Benally, Harrison James, Phillip James, Wayne Ike Jr., Emerson James, Ryan Spencer, and Parnell James.

Cheryl Lynn Watchman
CHINLE — Funeral services for Cheryl Lynn Watchman, 36, of Chinle, will be held today, July 9, at 10 a.m. at the Chinle Potter’s House with Pastor Artie Aragon officiating. Burial will follow in Del Muerto, Ariz.
Cheryl was born Nov. 15, 1978, in Fort Defiance, into the Ma’ii deeshgiizhinii (Coyote Pass Clan), born for Tótsohnii (Big Water Clan). She died July 4, 2015, in Navajo, N.M.
Cheryl, a homemaker, finished high school and was attending Northland Pioneer College. She enjoyed playing softball, watching the Broncos play and listening to country songs.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Kaylen O. Dedman; daughters, Camille L. Watchman and Kayah H. Dedman; brother, Fabian E. Watchman; sisters, Tashina, Sylvana and Crystal Watchman; and grandmother, Sally Tsosie.
Cheryl is preceded in death by Oscar Dedman; great-grandmother, Dorothy S. Tsosie; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth Sr. and Rosemary E. Watchman.
Pallbearers are Darrell Steven and Nelton Joe.
Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Watchman Jr. and Fabian E. Watchman.
A reception will take place at the Del Muerto Worship Center following services.

Fabian James
GANADO, Ariz. — Funeral services for Fabian James, 46, of Ganado, Ariz., were held July 8 at the Latter-day Saints Church in Ganado, Ariz., with Bishop Richard Clarke officiating. Interment followed in Kinlichee, Ariz.
Fabian was born Sept. 8, 1968, in Fort Defiance, into the çshiih’ (Salt People Clan), born for Tl’ááshchi’i (The Red Bottom People Clan). He died July 3, 2015, in Summit, Ariz.
Fabian went on the Indian Student Placement Program in Utah with the LDS Church throughout his elementary and middle school years. He also attended Window Rock High School. He worked at previous construction companies with Navajo Housing Authority and Arviso Construction.
Fabian had a passion for riding Harley motorcycles and horses. He served as a rancher. He also enjoyed spending time with family, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends.
Fabian is survived by his sons, Kendrick Cardi, Terrell Dawes, Terdell Dawes, William Young and Troy Young; his parents, Pearline and Freddie Begay; brothers, Peterson Sam Sr. and Ferlin Begay; sister, Angie Joe; and six grandchildren.
Fabian is preceded in death by his grandmother, Katherine Yazzie, and brothers, Farrin James and Andy Joe.
Pallbearers were Terrell Dawes, Terdell Dawes, Dwayne Williams, Peterson Sam Jr., Justin Curley Jr. and Ronald Blackgoat.
Honorary pallbearers were Stenson Blackgoat, William Young, Trey Young and Brian Curley.

Jerome Tom White
GALLUP — Funeral services for Jerome Tom White, 32, were held July 8 at Rollie Mortuary in Gallup. Interment followed in Rehoboth, N.M.
Jerome was born Feb. 17, 1983, in Gallup, into the Nihoobáa nii (Gray Streaked-Ends Clan), born for Haltsooi (Meadow People Clan). His nali is Kiyaa’aanii (Towering House) and his cheii is Zuni. He died June 30, 2015, in Springstead, N.M.
Jerome is survived by his mother Olivia Jean White and son Miles White.
Jerome is preceded in death by his brother Tyrone White and grandparents Tom White Sr. and Bah Yazzie White.

Nelson J. Largo Sr.
THOREAU, N.M. — Funeral services for Nelson J. Largo Sr., 83, were held July 6 at Thoreau Baptist Church in Thoreau, N.M. Interment followed at the family plot (Largo’s corral).
Nelson was born April 12, 1932, into the Kiyaa’aanii (Towering House Clan), born for Tó baazhni’ázhi (Two Who Came to Water Clan). He died June 29, 2015.
Nelson enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in Korea. He served as Smith Lake Chapter president for 26 years and was a member of the Education Committee, BIA Road Committee, and CAC Committee.
Nelson is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Largo; sons Larry Largo, Ladd Largo, Carl Largo and Nelson (Shawn) Largo Jr.; daughters Brenda Elkshoulder and Bernadine Largo; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larren Largo, Lavar Largo, Chance Elkshoulder, Cameron Elkshoulder, Lionel Largo and Lansferd Lee.

Joe Curley Brown
CORNFIELDS, Ariz. — Funeral services for Joe Curley Brown, 89, of Cornfields, Ariz., were held July 3 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ganado, Ariz., with Chinle Stake President Romero Brown officiating. Interment and a reception followed in Cornfields.
Joe was born March 26, 1926, in Steamboat, Ariz., into the Tsi’naajinii (Black Streak Wood People Clan), born for Tábaahá (Water’s Edge Clan). He died July 1, 2015 in Ganado.
Joe is survived by his sons, Roy C. Brown, Edwin J. Brown and Leroy Brown; daughters, Anita Nez, Marilyn Tso, Clara Baloo, Julie Jones, Belinda Tracy, and Marti Yazzie; brother, Thomas Brown; sisters, Frances John and Grace Begay; and 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Taliman Brown; and grandson, Shane L. Nez.
Pallbearers were Winston Tso, Laren Nez, Antoine J. Panther; Leroy Brown, Roysen Brown and Emilio Nez.
Honorary pallbearers were Bob Yazzie, Robert L. Tracy, Roy C. Brown, Lawrence Nez, Jasper Tso and Thomas Brown.
