For any high school basketball buffs, this year’s Antelope Canyon Holiday Classic is the place to be.

A new champion will be crowned on Saturday night at the John Lomasney 48th Annual Gallup Girls Invitational.

With two of its starting five players benched at the opening tip-off for disciplinary reasons, the Ganado boys basketball team sweated out its victory against Many Farms up until the final horn sounded.

The Skyhawks will showcase their talents on national television tonight with an away game at Weber State, a Division I program. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah. The game will be televised on ESPN+, an online video streaming service.
