Team Wild is at it again. For the past few days, they have been working hard at putting the final touches to this year’s 32nd Annual Wild Thing Championship Bullriding. The two-day extravaganza is set for next week on July 11 and 12 at Red Rock Park in Church Rock, New Mexico.

New Mexico State University cowboy Brad Moreno took the 2025 College National Finals Rodeo by storm. Moreno captured the men’s all-around crown in Casper, Wyoming by accumulating 255 points during the one-week college finals that concluded on Saturday night as he beat Central Wyoming College cowboy Jace Mayfield by 30 points.

The annual Gallup Lions Club Rodeo never disappoints as cowboys and cowgirls compete for a shipload of cash.

The cycle is complete for the Betony family. On Saturday night, Wyatt Betony went 2-for-2 during the 75th Annual Gallup Lions Club Rodeo in the bareback event.

A freak accident last fall sidelined Cauy Betony for the early part of the 2025 rodeo season. The Tonalea, Ariz., cowboy broke his femur in October of last year during the Arizona State Fair Native American Rodeo in Phoenix, which suspended his rodeo profession for five months.
