The 1-2-3-4 finish by the Zuni boys cross country team may have sent a message that the T-Birds mean business.

It didn’t take long for Tohatchi harrier Catherine Denetclaw to take control of the 5K race at last week’s Náshdóítsoh Invite.

In a similar fashion Chinle senior Janessa Segay and Window Rock junior Bearren Kee dominated the field at Tuesday’s Rick Baker Invite.

Rain or shine the Náshdóítsoh Invite will kick off the 2024 New Mexico prep cross country season on Friday afternoon.

The annual Narbona Pass Classic draws runners from all ages and varying running levels.
