The Kirtland Central High School boys’ cross-country team finally got it right.

Just a week ago, Kirtland Central High runner Kashon Harrison edged Chinle’s Santiago Hardy to win the Chinle Invite by a mere two seconds.

After following in the shadow of former Ganado long distance ace Daan Haven for two years, junior Janaya McIntosh has worked hard to become the Hornets’ frontrunner.

The Chinle High School cross-country boys’ team showed up at the Shiprock Chieftain Invitational for one thing: redemption.

As freshman Jacy Edaakie entered the final stretch in Saturday’s Miyamura Invitational, it capped a terrific showing by the Zuni T-Birds.
